Biography.


I was born on September 25, 1992 in Salerno, Italy.

I received the B.sc. degree cum laude in Ingegneria Gestionale at the University of Siena in 2014.

I received the M.sc. degree cum laude in Computer and Automation Engineering at the University of Siena.

I received the PhD degree in Information Engineering and Science at the University of Siena in 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Antonio Vicino and Prof. Marco Casini.

Research.


My research activities are currently focused on:

Optimal control of HVAC systems in buildings

This research activity is focused on the development of a Model Predictive Control strategies to optimally manage the HVAC system of a smart building considering comfort and technological constraints.

Optimal energy management of Electric Vehicle charging stations

This research activity is focused on the development of control techniques, aimed at managing the electric vechile charging process under charging demand uncertainty, in order to achieve an effective and safe electric vehicle integration into present power systems.
