Currently, I am Post-Doc at the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics of the University of Siena.
My main research interests include robotic grasping and manipulation, human-robot collaboration, and educational robotics.

Organized Workshops

  • T. Lisini Baldi, M. Pozzi, M. Bianchi, D. Prattichizzo, TIGHT: Tactile InteGration between Human and arTificial systems, I-RIM 3D 2019, Rome, Italy. Link
    This workshop discussed how new tactile communication paradigms can be exploited to increase the user's confidence in her/his collaborator, no matter if it is another connected human or a robot, and their mutual understanding.

    This workshop brought together research experts as well as representatives of companies to discuss how new approaches in the field of robotic manipulation can efficiently be transferred from the research labs to the productive world.

    The workshop aimed at looking for answers to the growing need of mathematical tools and shared standards in the emergent field of soft manipulation. In particular, it tackled the problem of finding innovative ways to evaluate grasps with underactuated and soft robotic hands.
