Current position: Professor in Control Systems at the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics (DIISM) of the University of Siena.
I have been the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Siena in 2011-2012 and the Director of DIISM from 2015 to 2021. DIISM offers four Master of Science programs in engineering, entirely taught in English. Check details at DIISM Courses.
I am a member of the
Control Research Group at DIISM.
Since 2013, I serve as Associate Editor for Automatica. I was an Associate Editor for the
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control from 2002 to 2005.
