CURRICULUM VITAE

Paolo Bennati graduated in Telecommunication Engineering with a thesis in antennas and propagation at the Faculty of Engineering - University of Siena. Afterwards he joined the Computer Architecture Group at the same university - Department of Information Engineering. Currently, Paolo Bennati’s research themes are focused in the area of Computer System Architecture. Among them:

Design techniques of embedded systems for mobile and multimedia applications.

Innovative cache design techniques for low-power high-performance systems.

Post-Doc Researcher at the Information Engineering School of University of Siena since October 1st, 2007.

Education

Ph.D. student with scholarship at the Information Engineering Ph.D. School of the University of Siena.

Telecommunication Engineering Master degree achieved on February 2th, 2004 at the University of Siena with a thesis titled: "Guide d'onda TEM realizzate mediante superfici hard artificiali".

Qualification to the Information Engineering profession achieved on June 30th, 2004.

School Leaving Scientific Certificate achieved on July 1997 (60/60).

Winner for the category "Azioni finalizzate all'integrazione sociale delle categorie svantaggiate attraverso le tecnologie ICT"  of the Prize P.A. APERTA 2006, promoted during ForumPA 2006 (XVII Mostra Convegno dei servizi ai cittadini e alle imprese - 2006 May, 8-12 ) by Ministro per l'Innovazione, Commissione interministeriale permanente per l'impiego delle ICT a favore dei soggetti svantaggiati e il CNIPA in collaboration with Ericsson and with the scientific ocntrobution of A.S.P.H.I..
